Smart Packaging Solutions has been one of the largest producers of shrimp boxes for years already!

Our 5-kg box is used by almost all trawlers in the largest catchment areas. Russia has also been added to this list recently. In collaboration with our Norwegian partner, we have developed a beautiful offset printed box specifically for the Russian market. Following the investment in a state-of-the-art five-colour press earlier this year, we can print this kind of high-quality designs directly on packaging.

The torch has been passed

After serving as general director for more than 16 years, Dirk Schut has passed the torch to the new Plant Manager in Loenen, Kees Emons, as of the September 15th. Having worked with us as a Controller since 2006, Kees is well-known to the company. Together with the team in Loenen, he will continue to grow the company and allow it to flourish in the coming years. On Friday, September 29th, a barbecue was organised for all the Loenen employees to take a moment and enjoy this occasion.

Smart Packaging Solutions Open Day in Oudegem

On Sunday, 1 October, our employees and their friends and family were given the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes. This was a unique opportunity for friends and family to walk along a route and see the entire production process; from raw material to final product. Employees had the chance to show what they produce on a daily basis.  After the tour, everyone could enjoy some refreshments while the children could participate in various activities.  It’s Great to work for!
